Hello! My name is Amanda Neipris, and I'm a retro-inspired illustrator and designer in Portland, Oregon.
I'm inspired by advertisement and animation character trends and color palettes of the 1960s-80s. I illustrated my first book, "Everything I Need to Know I Learned from E.T., the Extra Terrestrial," in 2022 and have illustrated episode covers of the long-running historical video games podcast Retronauts since 2020.
Outside of art business, I am a professional communicator. I worked in college sports media relations for the University of Tennessee for a decade (I know how the sport of diving is scored!) and am now a senior internal communications specialist at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). I have an undergraduate degree in journalism and a master's in sports management.
