Since 2020, I've been illustrating covers for Retronauts, the long-running podcast about old video games. I am still struck at how cool it is that they have unique art for every episode, and that I've been able to contribute.
Here is some art from 2025: Mega Man X4 (above), the history of write-in computer games, Super Mario World as part of a music compilation episode, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (below, left to right). Prince of Persia is a new release, but the episode delves into the play style and history of the franchise, which spans decades.
I additionally love doing these episode covers because it gives me an excuse to do some video game deep dives and discoveries before the episode hits the podcast apps. Admittedly, it sometimes leads me to purchases too; I picked up Prince of Persia when I finished the illustration.
